SPLASH & DASH TIME


There will be times when the weather will prevent a proper cleaning of the pool. During a rainy day like today, pool operators resort to what is commonly called Splash & Dash. As the name implies, a Splash of chemicals and a Dash to the truck! Sometimes we are lucky if  we can even do that. On days when the rain is too heavy, we have to skip certain pools if access to the pool or residence is flooded. We can't be perfect all the time.

Rainfall can be a blessing by cooling down the temperature in a hot day or a truth teller revealing whether the pool operator had been doing a good job. If the chemicals in the pool were not at their acceptable levels and the pool is skipped during a rainy day, chances are that the following week there will be signs of algae growth in that pool.
