Coming in from the cold

This past week has been quite cold for pool operators in South Florida. I could only imagine those in the north, brrrrr. Although it was cold, we stepped up to the challenge and went out to service our customers pools as we have done during the nice warm days--with a few extra layers of clothing of course. As long as the wind is not blowing and the sun is shining, it's bearable. However when the weather is cloudy and windy...forget it! Time to consider the consequences of possibly getting sick working in such weather. This is the time when you separate the men from the boys.

This coming week promises to bring more of the same. Oh well...what can we do? Hopefully the pool operators will make sure they are properly and adequately dressed for the occasion. As for me it's business as usual. I take it one day at a time and one pool at a time. Whatever will be, will be. No need for me to stress over something that hasn't happened yet. Here in Florida the weather changes quickly and without much notice. For all we know tomorrow may be a very nice day to clean pools. But whether it is or it isn't, the SharKool Pools team will be out in full force! That you can count on!
